Hurdle #1 ~ The Orr Braves

Thought I would try another stab at a poem and this is the result. The girls play the Lady Braves tonight at 7:45 pm in Greenway. Their record is 12-10 and they are #93 in the QRF Rankings and go into the tournament the #8 seed. Good Luck tonight girls!

Hurdle #1 - The Orr Braves

Tonight is the night that your post season begins,
It’s time to show up and take a BIG stand!
Show no mercy like you’ve never shown before,
Because it’s in your blood, right down to the core.
The Braves will come out and play real tall,
But you have the skills to make them tumble and fall.
You have a target on you like no other in this Section,
So you have to come out determined and teach them a lesson!
You still have work to do and need to take it game by game,
Some think they can do it, but we all know they are lame...
You know you’re the best and have all the right tools,
Refined ones at that, and will you get past all those other schools.
You’ve played against teams all over this State,
And that is one reason you’ve bonded as teammates.
You’ve played big schools and little, and made an impression,
They know you guys are determined by your serious expressions!
Your coaches stand by you and smile at each other,
Because they see that you BELIEVE and trust one another!
That makes them very happy and the fans can see it too,
That is why we follow you and will continue to be true.
Take care of the Orr Braves and send a strong message,
That you will take it this year cuz’ it’s your right of passage!
