Bigfork 77, Cook 60

Cook came out hitting their shots and actually had the lead for awhile...Bigfork stayed calm and the shots came for them as well. I will post more tomorrow as it is very late and I just found out tonight that we lose an hour of sleep as we have to move the clock ahead one hour...ugh...glad it's Sunday and the girls don't have school tomorrow. They are all my heroes....

Shelby had a good game tonight with her first three shots hitting from behind the arc. She ended up with 21 points at the half and 33 for the night, with another two three's in the second half. She had two back to back steals and was able to score off of those and quite a few fast breaks that her teammates were able to get the ball to her with some long passes. Adrianna and Megan both ended up with 15, Lise 8, Teresa 4 and Robin 2. Adrianna was in foul trouble and had to sit for a bit and still had a good night. Megan and Shelby both stayed away from fouls and were foul free for the game (which is unusual), Lise had two, Theresa 3 and Robin 3 also. Adrianna did end up fouling out and you can see by the pictures at the end how Lise consoled her, as a great teammate would do.

The score at the half was 43-28 and Cook actually had the lead for awhile until the girls starting hitting their shots...Bigfork did come out cold shooting the beginning of the second half but just plugged along and got the job done in their usual manner.

Shelby had lots of family and friends come out which was nice. Her Grandma's sister Mary Ann and her daughter and husband (first time they have been to a game), Auntie Lynne and Jack, sister Desirae and her three young un's, and just one of the usual Dora Lakers as the rest were out of town or had prior commitments...boy, did they miss a good game!

And the MIB/Nashwauk game was great! I'm glad I went in early to watch it....
