Favor to Ask of All You Viewers Out There

I would love to hear from family and friends from all over the country that have been looking at my blog and keeping up with our Lovely Lady Huskies...if you would be so kind as to share (anonymously if you wish) a story of one of the players or send your support and best wishes to the team and coaching staff that would be so wonderful!

I will print them all up and give them to the girls tomorrow before they get on the bus for the big game..we are feeding the girls at 3:30 at the school after their shoot around and also giving them their tournament buckets...it would be the perfect send away for them to see and hear from everyone out there that wants to see them get to the Big Dance.

I have received an email and one post from two different people that went to school with Shelby's Grandpa Rod and his sister, Shelby's great auntie Delores, asking about the girls and wishing them well.

I will print them all up and have the coaching staff read them to the girls during the team dinner or on the bus...whichever they think would be best.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR BEING SO SUPPORTIVE TO THESE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS...they have worked so hard over the past 8-9 years to get to this pivotal point in their journey. Please share something so that we can pass it along to them on their big day....

If you want to email them to me that would be fine also.... jgoble@paulbunyan.net

Treasure this opportunity - you are one of the few teams that gets this far. So leave it all on the court...

"whether you think you can or you think you can't- you are right!

Make it happen!

Way to go girls! I have known most of you for at least 10 years. My favorite Huskie is Shelby. I have known her since she was born. Remember Shelby when you used to ride in your moms car, standing up, with no teeth??? Girls, you have made history for your school and are about to do it again Saturday. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, parents, families, and friends. If you get the opportunity to be a part of the State Tournament it will be such an awesome event to remember. A dream come true! When you walk out on that floor and they call your name tears will come to your eyes and the eyes of your family members and close friends that are there. Shelby, just ask Shawn and Aaron how it feels. They we're both part of a State Tournament Football Team from Deer River.

Stay focused on the game and you can win and you will win!!

I also want to thank Julie Goble for keeping this blog updated and adding so many personal touches for the readers. I can't wait to see the blog you create for Shelby's college career. Julie, you will be sorely missed in Bigfork after Shelby graduates.

Go Huskies,Go Huskies,Go Huskies,Go

Congratulations on the results of your hard work so far! and a shout out to #4 Kate D. All those miles travelliing all over MN and Wisconsin for summer games must have helped! Hanging around with Dr. Heidi's friends Steph, Hap and Bean as examples of women athletes probably helps, too. We know all of you girls will stay focused on the current game. All the best! See you in the Cities! Uncle Greg and Aunt Connie are proud of Kate and her friends!
