The Lady Huskies did a fine job tonight against the Ely Timberwolves and are now 21-2. The score at the half was 39-22 and the final 71-44. The last time we played them in the Hibbing tournament the score was 69-35.
Adrianna had a strong shooting night with six 3's and ended up with 21 points, Shelby with 17, Megan with 14, Lise with 9, Kate with 4, and Britney and Theresa with 3 each. It was Parent's Night and their was actually quite a crowd and Shelby had her own mini-crowd from Dora Lake which was nice...a few came out for the first time this year and that was nice to see also.
A little emotional for Shelby after the game realizing it was the last time she will play with her teammates in the Bigfork gym.
A few Mountain Iron-Buhl coaches in the crowd even though their team played tonight at Greenway....
Good job again girls!! Now get some rest the next two nights and eat some carbs Wednesday night!
