The Lady Huskies lost a tough one tonight in overtime to conference rival Deer River. Annalise Klamm hit a very long 3 to tie the game at 64 to send the game into overtime. Adrianna had fouled out at the end of the regulation game so was not able to help out in overtime play. She ended up top scorer tonight with 23, Shelby with 20, Megan 13, Lise 10 and Theresa 6. Unfortunately no one scored off of the bench tonight. Carolyn fouled a Warrior on a shot that tied the game at 72 and she made the winning free throw. We had about 5 seconds and were not able to score. Lise put up another long shot but unfortunately it didn't go in the second time around.
It was a physical game with Aspen Marleau hitting seven three's tonight. Jodie Seelye came off the bench for the Warriors tonight and hit a few key three's also. I believe they also did better at the free throw line as we missed 7 of 18 tonight. Just one of those would have made a difference in this game!
