Well the girls had their first game of the season and all was well! Shelby is out for six games and Adrianna is out for a few also.....Annalise Klamm, a freshman, made her varsity debut in a powerful way, leading the way with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals! Great job little Lise!
The score at the half was 26-17 and the final score was 62-31, with Bigfork doubling their score. Karla Pula had a good night with 11, Jenna with 10, Jordan with 8, Nicolle and Megan with 6 each and Rachel rounding out with 4. The girls got their kinks out in the first half and came together in the second, playing great team ball.
They play at Tower-Soudan on Thursday, 11/30. Last year we beat Tower both regular season games but lost to them in the first round of playoffs by one point. It was a heartbreaker. Time for payback!
The JV also had a big win last night beating Cotton's JV 64-13! Wow....everyone played and I believe almost everyone scored. Coach Prato was very happy.
In other action in Section 7A, Nashwauk beat Tower, MIB beat Deer River and Littlefork beat Orr.
