Practice began on Monday, November 12th with a few new faces and few that surprisingly decided not to play this year. The girls found conditioning and the overall practices to be quite different this year! Much harder but excited about the new drills and to see where Coach Powell is going this year. Some quite sore as usual, but realize they have to make sacrifices and work hard to have another successful season!
There are only two seniors this year in Rachel Kacon and Jenna Beckner, with juniors Shelby Goble and Brittany Stewart, sophomores Megan Powell, Annalise Klamm, Adrianna Ivanovic, Robin Prather, Ashley Kopplemann, Brittany Hoyt, Stacey Harnden, Theresa Stewart and many freshman also. The team will be young again, but very fast and lots of great passing and good shooters. They should be able to score from practically anywhere! Much anticipation from parents, families and fans for the season to get started....
They have a scrimmage at Hibbing High School on Saturday, November 24th and I will update the blog with a few pictures and how they did soon after.....
