I read a coach's profile on Kevin J. Anderson's Girls Basketball Recruit site a couple of weeks ago and the coach said his favorite book was "Blind Your Ponies" by Stanley Gordon West. Of course me being the curious one, went to Amazon's site and found the book, read the ratings, and ordered it right on the spot!
I received it in the mail on a Saturday at noon and finished reading the 574 page book early Monday morning....it was wonderful! Could be about any VERY small town in rural America with a struggling basketball program with small numbers. A heartwarming story that any basketball junkie should read... even has a little romance going on! You don't want to stop turning the pages to see what happens and you don't want it to end.
It would be a nice Christmas present to anyone that loves basketball and loves to read!
